Job Description

Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN is responsible for delivering routine care, monitoring patient health, administering medications, and assisting patients with daily needs. This role ensures that the care provided complies with the healthcare facility’s policies and state regulations. Required Qualifications: Education: Completion of a state-approved practical nursing program (LPN/LVN). Licensure: Current, valid LPN license in the state of practice. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Any department-specific certifications, such as IV therapy or wound care (preferred).
